Meet the Staff
Jennifer Chrisman
LM, CPM
I began my formal midwifery training in 2016. My desire has always been to promote health and nutrition for the best possible outcome for myself and my babies. This desire grew to include helping all women to have positive birth experiences.
As a mother of 12 children, I understand the needs of the expectant mother. I have had first hand experience with a range of births and prenatal care. I have had a c-section, natural hospital birth, birth center birth, a stillbirth, and miscarriage. My desire is to enable mothers to have personal prenatal care, safe labors, and a positive birth experience.

I come from a large family and I grew up witnessing my mom’s prenatal, labor and postpartum care. Even when I was younger I recognized that she deserved much better care than she received. As I got older I knew I wanted to work in healthcare and be a provider who provides non-biased information, where my clients would feel supported and welcomed. I value informed consent. I encourage my clients to ask questions, research, and advocate for themselves. I believe that no matter where someone chooses to birth (or receive care for any issue) they deserve to be heard and cared for as a human with value.
I am a more recent transplant to the DFW area, I grew up in central Texas and relocated here in the summer of 2023. I spend my free time with my sweet husband, taking adventure trips, exploring the outdoors, and visiting my many siblings, nieces and nephews.

I have been an advocate for out of hospital birth since 1986 after delivering my third baby at home with a midwife. Surrounded by family and familiar faces in the comfort of my own home, I knew that this was the way birth was intended. I graduated from Mercy In Action College of Midwifery in 2014 and received my NARM certification and Texas Midwifery License in August of 2016.
