Whether giving birth at home or in a birth center, we believe that it’s a family centered experience. The midwife’s role is to guide and support the process while enhancing the family’s power of unity. Having children present during prenatal appointments, and even at the birth of their siblings can be a positive event for them. We encourage clients to include and educate their children to prepare them for the arrival of their new brother or sister.

Midwifery care and out-of-hospital birth is very safe and has a very low intervention rate. This is due to the fact that we carefully review our patient’s health history at the start of and during care. However, should an emergency presents itself before or during delivery, the birth center is less than 1 mile from the nearest hospital.
-
Many insurance companies do cover midwifery care. Please call us today to talk about your options and for help to determine your coverage for an out of hospital birth.
-
We do not currently accept medicaid. We are more than happy to sit down with you and come up with a payment arrangement that best suits your needs.
-
We want midwifery care to be affordable to all our clients. An early pay discounted fee of $5300.00 is available. This applies to uninsured clients who agree to pay their balance by 36 weeks.
